Professional Ceiling Installation
We supply quality drywall materials and install boards with screws. Following building code and manufacturer specs, we use moisture and mold resistant drywall in bathrooms with showers and in basements. 5/8" Type X drywall is used in multi-family walls that join another unit and in garages where walls meet living space. Special 1/2" drywall is used for ceilings with 24" between framing members. We have 48" and 54" wide drywall for nine-foot walls and lengths of 8, 10, 12, 14, and 16 feet.
Ceiling Hanging
We repair water damage from leaking pipes or roofs, ceiling holes cut by plumbers and electricians, dents from moving furniture, door knobs, and pets scratching at walls. We fix ceiling cracks from movement and settling, and we correct bad taping work from prior contractors or DIY attempts. We even finish drywall if you hang it.
Preparing To Install
We are professionals at finishing drywall ceilings and getting a perfectly smooth, flat surface. We apply three coats and sand, leaving the ceilings and walls ready for paint. We use professional quality brands such as USG and National Gypsum. Don’t chance the look of 75% of your home’s interior to anyone. Hire a ceiling professional.
Ceiling Types
For homes with plaster ceilings and walls, we repair and restore old surfaces. We can resecure plaster to lath and use reinforcing mesh systems to resist cracking and support full restoration. Large areas missing can be replastered.
Screws Fastened Properly
We install the screws at the proper spacing to code. We don't use nails because they can pop. Screws must be set to the correct depth and not too deep to hold the boards securely.
Next Phase: Professional Finishing
We offer to finish the job with Sherwin Williams quality paints. Allow us to roll two coats of quality ceiling paint and turn over the job finished and ready to move furnishings back in.
